Trey Jameson (Lawrence G. Jameson, III) is the owner and principal attorney of Jameson. Trey has extensive experience in both New York City and Charleston, South Carolina, his hometown. Trey focuses on intellectual property. He has an advanced legal degree, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property.
After obtaining his LL.M., Trey worked several years for a mid-sized Manhattan law firm as a member of the RMBS (residential mortgage-backed securities) litigation group. The partnership group represented foreign banks who were seeking retribution from the banking crisis of 2008.
Trey also currently serves as an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law and teaches Intellectual Property Law, Trademark Law, Copyright Law, and Legal Research and Writing. Trey was awarded Adjunct Professor of the Year in his first year of teaching. Additionally, Trey serves as Associate Municipal Judge for the Town of Summerville.
